Principal – Pre-Primary Section – Sultan Mahomed Shah Aga Khan School, Karachi

The Principal of the Pre-Primary Section will be responsible for providing leadership, developing goals and objectives for the school, and preparing strategies and programmes to achieve those goals. S/he will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of education in the institution, as well as for providing an open and conducive learning environment. The Principal will be responsible and accountable for the school’s leadership and management; teaching and learning; curriculum and resources; parents and community; ethos and environment; motivating academic and non-academic staff, as well as the school policies, processes, and systems.

• The ideal candidate must hold a Master’s degree, preferably in Education or management, from a reputed university
•  Minimum of 5 years of teaching and/or educational management experience preferably at pre-primary level at an institution of good repute.
• Candidates having certificate or diploma in ECE, experience of working with young children (2-6yrs), strong communication, classroom management, interpersonal and leadership skills and experience of training teachers at different platforms will have an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS word and Excel, and proven experience of working with parents and the community is desirable.
