Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Placement and Training Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the placement of students, trainees, or employees in internships, jobs, or training programs. This role will also involve designing, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and performance of our participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers, training providers, and other stakeholders to secure placement opportunities
- Coordinate and manage the placement process, including application, selection, and matching of participants with suitable opportunities
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs to meet the needs of participants and employers
- Conduct needs assessments and skills gap analyses to inform training program development
- Monitor and report on participant progress and performance
- Provide guidance, support, and coaching to participants to ensure successful placement and training outcomes
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or related field
- Proven experience in placement, training, or a related field
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including employers, participants, and training providers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with workforce development, career counseling, or talent management
- Knowledge of industry trends and training best practices
- Certification in training, coaching, or mentoring
