Job Summary

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan invites applications from qualified, experienced, and dynamic candidates for the position of Physiotherapist based at Physio Unit Garden, Karachi.

Position Summary:

The role is to help and treat patients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury, disability, or ageing, to improve their movement. Also responsible for developing and reviewing treatment programs using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and electrotherapy. Conducting field-based outreach camps and managing referred patients.

Roles And  Responsibilities:

• Fully aware of the mission statement of AKHSP and endeavors to implement it with team spirit within the organization.
• Initial Patient evaluation to identify the patient’s needs.
• Correct History taking from the patient.
• Determine appropriate treatment program.
• Execution of treatment program using required physiotherapy modalities and techniques.
• Meeting the patient's needs in terms of rehabilitation.
• Regular assessment of the patient’s progress.
• Monitoring patient’s relief and level of functionality.
• Planning, executing, and attending outreach camps in the selected geographies regularly.
• Maintaining patients’ database and regularly updating it.
• Developing and sharing reports and success stories regularly
• Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills

Skills And Qualifications:

• DPT/BSC in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
• At least 2 + years of experience in the relevant field.
• Can manage multiple tasks, teams, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Have experience working with community health initiatives.
