Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assessment of the patient on the basis of past history, predefined assessment tools and designing a therapy plan with the Head of Physical Therapy.
  •  Execution of the designed therapy plan to achieve goals.
  • Taking independent physical therapy sessions.
  • Counseling the parents regarding the child’s development according to Down’s syndrome.
  •  Facilitating/Demonstrating the parents regarding the physical therapy and activities at home.
  •  Assessment of the child’s requirement for orthosis.
  •  Selecting and providing the suitable orthosis (SMOs only) for the child, if required.
  •  Arena Evaluation of the children selected by the Head of Education for PIE.
  •  Any other task as assigned by the management.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Physical Therapy) from an HEC recognized institution.
  • Minimum 01-02 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Strong organizing skills.
  •  Excellent with networking/building relationships with the people.
  •  Excellent problem solving skills.
  •  Must be an excellent observer.
  •  Must have the ability to think outside the box and work under pressure.
  •  Must have compassion and patience.
