Assessment of the patient on the basis of past history, predefined assessment tools and designing a therapy plan with the Head of Physical Therapy.
Execution of the designed therapy plan to achieve goals.
Taking independent physical therapy sessions.
Counseling the parents regarding the child’s development according to Down’s syndrome.
Facilitating/Demonstrating the parents regarding the physical therapy and activities at home.
Assessment of the child’s requirement for orthosis.
Selecting and providing the suitable orthosis (SMOs only) for the child, if required.
Arena Evaluation of the children selected by the Head of Education for PIE.
Any other task as assigned by the management.
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree (Physical Therapy) from an HEC recognized institution.
Minimum 01-02 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizing skills.
Excellent with networking/building relationships with the people.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Must be an excellent observer.
Must have the ability to think outside the box and work under pressure.
Must have compassion and patience.
