The Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging physical education lessons to students, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles. The role involves planning and implementing a variety of physical activities, sports, and wellness programs for students across different grade levels.
Role and Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and deliver structured physical education lessons based on curriculum guidelines.
Teach various sports, games, and physical activities to promote strength, endurance, coordination, and flexibility.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve physical skills and participation.
Organize and supervise inter-school and intra-school sports events, competitions, and tournaments.
Promote a positive attitude toward physical activity and overall health.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during physical activities by maintaining equipment and enforcing rules.
Skills and Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
Teaching certification/license (as per country or regional requirement).
Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience (preferred).
Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports rules, and safety procedures.
Excellent communication, motivational, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage large groups and ensure student discipline and safety.
First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
