Job Summary

The Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging physical education lessons to students, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles. The role involves planning and implementing a variety of physical activities, sports, and wellness programs for students across different grade levels.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and deliver structured physical education lessons based on curriculum guidelines.

  • Teach various sports, games, and physical activities to promote strength, endurance, coordination, and flexibility.

  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve physical skills and participation.

  • Organize and supervise inter-school and intra-school sports events, competitions, and tournaments.

  • Promote a positive attitude toward physical activity and overall health.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during physical activities by maintaining equipment and enforcing rules.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

  • Teaching certification/license (as per country or regional requirement).

  • Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience (preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports rules, and safety procedures.

  • Excellent communication, motivational, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage large groups and ensure student discipline and safety.

  • First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
