We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to support licensed pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in pharmaceutical care, medication dispensing, patient counseling, and pharmacy management while complying with legal and ethical standards.
Role and Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and labeling medications accurately
Review prescriptions for completeness and legality under supervision
Provide customer service and assist patients with basic medication inquiries
Maintain accurate patient records and inventory documentation
Support inventory management, including stock checks and expiration monitoring
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, safety guidelines, and company policies
Assist in compounding medications (where applicable)
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and insurance processing
Skills and Qualification:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Pharmacy degree or diploma.
Completion of basic pharmacy-related coursework
Registered as a Pharmacy Intern/Trainee with the relevant Pharmacy Council or Board (if required)
