Job Summary
A Pakistani Cook is responsible for preparing traditional Pakistani meals while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness. The cook ensures timely meal preparation and provides delicious, well-presented food for staff, guests, or customers.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Pakistani dishes
- Plan daily meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Manage kitchen supplies and food inventory
- Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients
- Cook meals according to dietary and quantity requirements
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Minimize food waste and maintain cost control
- Follow health and safety standards at all times
- Coordinate with management regarding kitchen needs
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
- Proven experience as a Pakistani Cook in a hotel, restaurant, office, or home
- Strong knowledge of Pakistani cuisine and traditional dishes
- Ability to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and BBQ items
- Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Ability to manage kitchen work independently
- Experience in cooking for small or large groups
- Good time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain food quality and taste consistently
- Honest, hardworking, and responsible attitude
- Physically fit and able to work long hours
- Preference may be given to experienced candidates from Hunza or Ghizer
- Ability to work in a disciplined and professional environment
