Job Summary

The Pakistan Studies Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that deepen students' understanding of the historical, cultural, political, and geographical aspects of Pakistan. The teacher will foster critical thinking and a strong sense of national identity through discussion-based and inquiry-driven learning experiences.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver interactive lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Create opportunities for students to analyze historical sources, current events, and national policies to develop contextual understanding.
  • Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and respectful debate on social, political, and historical issues.
  • Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
  • Promote values of citizenship, tolerance, and social responsibility in line with national educational goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular connections and enhance interdisciplinary learning.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress and overall development.
  • Participate in school-wide events, cultural initiatives, and professional development programs.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Pakistan Studies, History, Political Science, Education, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s history, geography, and cultural heritage.
  • Ability to promote inquiry-based learning and facilitate engaging classroom discussions.
  • Effective classroom management and strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with national curriculum standards and the use of educational technology.
