We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Pakistan Studies Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Pakistan’s history, culture, geography, and civic structure, and will be capable of delivering engaging and informative lessons that inspire critical thinking and national awareness among students.
Role and Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans that fulfill curriculum requirements.
Teach topics such as the Pakistan Movement, Constitution, geography, culture, governance, and contemporary issues.
Encourage student participation and facilitate discussions on historical and current events.
Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and projects.
Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, respectful learning environment.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Update and maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Collaborate with other faculty members to promote interdisciplinary learning.
Stay informed about changes to the curriculum and teaching practices.
Skills and Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pakistan Studies, History, Political Science, or a related field.
B.Ed or teaching certification is preferred.
Proven experience teaching Pakistan Studies at [Secondary/Matric/O-Level/A-Level] level.
Strong command of written and spoken English and Urdu.
Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Passion for education and a commitment to student development.
Familiarity with [local/national] education board standards
Ability to integrate technology and multimedia tools into teaching.
Experience in organizing co-curricular activities related to history and national events.
