Job Summary

To assist in the packing, handling, and preparation of bakery products for storage and dispatch while maintaining product quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist in packing bakery products such as bread, buns, biscuits, cakes, and other bakery items.
• Check products for quality, appearance, quantity, and proper packaging.
• Place products carefully in packets, boxes, trays, or cartons as required.
• Operate or assist with basic packing equipment under supervision.
• Label and arrange packed products according to instructions.
• Ensure correct quantity and product type in each package.
• Handle bakery products carefully to avoid damage or contamination.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the packing area and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist in loading and arranging packed products for storage or dispatch.
• Report damaged, defective, or improperly packed products to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in the packing and surrounding work areas.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Basic literacy is preferred.
• Previous experience in a bakery, food factory, packing, or production environment will be an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive packing and handling tasks.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Punctual, responsible, and hardworking.
