Off-Campus Hospital Administrator @ The Aga Khan University Hospital

Job Summary

Reporting to Chief Operating Officer, Off-Campus Hospitals Pakistan, the incumbent will be responsible for overall smooth running of the 51-bedded Aga Khan Hospital, Karimabad including:

• Developing and implementing strategic plans, goals and operational budgets of the hospital
• Providing leadership and direction to the management team ensuring that operational, professional and technical activities are performed consistently in line with organization's vision, mission, goals and objectives
• Ensuring quality and safety as one of the top priorities and this is translated through an effective execution of quality, safety, infection control and facilities management standards and best evidence based practices
• Monitoring hospital clinical volumes and revenues
• Managing and monitoring financial and human resources 
• Ensuring systems, policies and procedures are in compliance with approved standards and regulatory requirements
• Preparing performance reports and business proposals
• Building and maintaining strategic relationships with all the stakeholders
• Liaising with government agencies and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Serving as a role model by providing leadership and problem-solving support to peers, direct reports and to customers.

Required Skills

You should have:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration / Health Care Management from a recognized university or equivalent degree
• An MBBS degree would be an added advantage
• At least eight years of experience at a managerial level preferably in hospital environment
• Understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to think critically and strategically
• Proven experience in working in a team environment, to recognize trends, and identify systematic approaches to solving problems in a fast moving, dynamic environment
• Excellent skills in data analysis, data organization, and use of spreadsheets related to operations, finance, quality and any other aspect of business operations
• Proficiency in preparing and presenting business cases
• Ability to deliver effectively under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
