Job Summary

The key responsibilities of this position include developing and implementing instructional material for pre-primary classes across AKES,P schools and orienting ECD teams in the same. Furthermore, it includes but is not limited to the development of customised Professional Development Plans, provision of coaching and mentoring support to enhance the knowledge and skills of ECD practitioners and conducting, monitoring/supervising and evaluating teacher training programs

Required Skills
  • Knowledge of child development, early-care and education, family childcare, and school-age environments; as well as command in-depth knowledge of the Early Childhood curriculum and its assessment framework, and expertise in the administration of childhood development programmes and their assessment
  • Leadership experience and demonstrated skills to promote collaboration and assume a mentorship and coaching role
  • Ability to speak English and prepare written reports in English, with a demonstrated ability to interact with a wide range of constituents
