Job Summary

The organization seeks a Nanny (Aya) for its Empowerment Center for Disadvantaged Children in Gilgit city to take care of two disabled children. This is a full-time (24 hours) resident post for female applicants. The employee will be provided accommodation as well as free of cost meals and health insurance.

Age: 25–45 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to the two disabled children throughout the day.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing and dressing of these children.
• Assist with feeding and ensure that the children receive meals and medicines as instructed.
• Support the children with mobility and other daily activities as required.
• Follow the children’s daily routines and care plans.
• Assist with exercises, therapy activities, and other activities recommended by therapists or supervisors.
• Observe the children’s physical and emotional well-being and promptly report any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the children.
• Accompany and assist the children during appointments, activities, or outings when required.

Required Skills

 Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare or caregiving will be preferred; experience with children with disabilities will be an advantage.
• Non Formal Education required
• Patient, caring, gentle, and compassionate personality.
• Good understanding of children’s needs and ability to respond appropriately.
• Physically fit and able to assist children with mobility when required.
• Responsible, punctual, trustworthy, and dependable.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
