Job Summary

A Montessori Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. The teacher follows Montessori principles and activity-based learning approaches to support children’s academic, social, emotional, and personal development.

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate Montessori and Early Years learning activities.
• Create a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Encourage children’s independence, creativity, confidence, and social skills.
• Use activity-based and hands-on teaching methods to support learning.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and student engagement effectively.
• Observe and assess children’s progress and maintain appropriate records.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s development and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective learning activities.
• Ensure classroom materials and learning areas are organized and accessible.
• Promote positive behavior, respect, cooperation, and good classroom habits.
• Support the individual learning needs and developmental stages of each child.

Required Skills

Skills And Qualifications:

• Montessori and ECD trained
• 3–5 years of teaching experience in Early Years
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-versed in activity-based teaching and learning
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
• Caring, patient, and committed approach towards young learners
