Job Summary

The Montessori Directress is responsible for creating and maintaining a nurturing, child-centered learning environment based on the Montessori philosophy. The role involves guiding children in their academic, social, emotional, and physical development through hands-on learning experiences while fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning.

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Montessori-based learning activities in accordance with the curriculum.
• Create a nurturing, engaging, and child-centered classroom environment.
• Observe, assess, and document each child's academic, social, and emotional development.
• Foster independence, confidence, and positive learning habits among students.
• Maintain classroom materials and ensure a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings, training sessions, and events.
• Uphold school policies and promote the values and standards of the institution

Required Skills

Qualification & Skills:

• Montessori Diploma from a recognized institution.
• Relevant experience in early childhood education, preferably in a Montessori environment.
• Sound knowledge of Montessori philosophy, teaching methods, and child development.
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Proficiency in maintaining student records and communicating effectively with parents.
• Basic computer literacy is preferred.
