Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Montessori philosophy and curriculum in a classroom setting.

  • Prepare and maintain a well-organized, stimulating, and safe learning environment.

  • Present lessons using Montessori materials based on each child’s developmental level and interests.

  • Observe and assess student progress; maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Foster a respectful, calm, and inclusive classroom culture that supports independence and responsibility.

  • Guide children in developing social skills, self-discipline, and positive behaviors.

  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s development and classroom activities.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure the effectiveness of the Montessori

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Diploma or certification in Montessori Education (AMI, AMS, or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of teaching experience in a Montessori environment (preferred).

  • Strong understanding of child development and Montessori philosophy.

  • Patience, compassion, and a passion for early childhood education.

  • Excellent communication, observation, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
