Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a well-organized, stimulating Montessori environment.

  • Observe each child’s interests and developmental progress to offer individualized guidance.

  • Introduce lessons and materials at the appropriate developmental level.

  • Encourage self-directed activity, hands-on learning, and collaborative play.

  • Model and foster respect, responsibility, and grace and courtesy.

  • Maintain records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Montessori Certification from an accredited training center (AMI, AMS, MACTE, etc.).

  • Experience working with children in a Montessori setting is preferred.

  • Strong observational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of child development and Montessori philosophy.
