MEP Engineer (Short-Term Consultant)

Job Summary

An MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and supervising the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review and supervise MEP design drawings, plans, and specifications.

• Monitor installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure compliance with project standards.

• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to contractors and project teams.

• Identify technical issues and recommend efficient solutions to ensure smooth project execution.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams regarding MEP requirements.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation related to MEP works.

• Verify contractor work and assist in testing, commissioning, and system handover.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and other relevant design tools
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Understanding of building codes and safety standards
• Experience in project coordination and contractor supervision
• Cost estimation and quantity verification skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
