Job Summary

A Mathematics Teacher is responsible for teaching mathematical concepts, developing students’ problem-solving abilities, and helping them build strong analytical and numerical skills through effective classroom instruction.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver mathematics lessons according to the curriculum
  • Teach topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Arithmetic
  • Prepare lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, and examinations
  • Explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively
  • Assess student progress through tests and class activities
  • Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
  • Provide extra support to students who need assistance
  • Use teaching aids and technology to improve learning
  • Prepare students for exams and academic success
  • Participate in school meetings, events, and parent discussions

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Teaching qualification or certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Arithmetic
  • Previous teaching experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good classroom management abilities
  • Ability to prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly
  • Patience and ability to support student learning
  • Basic computer knowledge and use of teaching technology
  • Professional, punctual, and responsible attitude
