Job Summary

The Manager Finance will be responsible for assisting the Senior Manager in the following:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying key risk areas for maintaining financial discipline, and recommending ways to improve processes and procedures
  • Oversee operations of the revenue and treasury functions, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
  • Reviewing financial ledgers and trial balance on periodic basis, ensure timely follow up on receivables, managing payables, analyzing financial and statistical data, developing analytical reports for decision making, managing, and supervising the entire financial assistance portfolio.
  • Manage the financial assistance portfolio and collaborate with AKSWB on various initiatives.
  • Review and develop revenue budgets, forecasts, and different management reports.
  • Review and prepare statutory financial statements of the company as per the applicable standards and local laws.
  • Manage the statutory audit of the company in liaison with external auditors
  • Oversee the financial operations of the regions and provide timely guidance to regional and school finance teams
  • Perform data analysis, research, data modelling to develop trends and projections for strategic decision making
  • Execute day to day operational decisions, reviewing, and recommending changes to the key financial policies, making financial models, consolidating regional data
  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing at central and all regional offices across Pakistan
  • Visiting various units across Pakistan for compliance review
  • Assisting Chief Financial Officer of the Company in episodic assignments and presenting analysis

 

Required Skills

Skills:

  • The ideal candidate must have a graduate degree in a relevant finance role or equivalent professional qualification in finance (qualified ACCA, CMA, CA may be preferred) 
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field. Candidates must have strong technical knowledge of IFRS, applicable laws, and market practices, along with proficiency in MS Excel and business intelligence tools.
  • Additionally, excellent communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and team management skills are essential for producing high-quality results within tight deadlines.
