Job Summary
Habib University is currently accepting applications against the position of Manager - Digital Media.
The incumbent will develop a Digital Marketing Strategy for the University, maintain its social media presence across all digital channels and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns; identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on these insights. He/She will also assist in optimizing the University website user experience by gathering and analyzing relevant website metrics.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the digital marketing strategy in line with the University positioning and its overall marketing strategy.
- Design social media content to achieve marketing targets; manage, create and publish original, highquality material on social media platforms;
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media channels; write social media posts and responses to audiences.
- Administer all company social media accounts ensuring up to date content, including monitoring user engagement and suggest content optimization.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communication teams to create social “buzz” regarding new product launches.
- Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network.
- Plan and execute inbound marketing, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, PPC, AdWords programmes, website analytics, etc.
- Manage and develop digital agency relationships; key liaison between HU and its social media partners for all digital platforms.
- Train internal teams to integrate and sustain a cohesive social media strategy.
- Stay abreast with new digital technologies and social media practices.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Head of Marketing or Senior Manager, Communications
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field and/or equivalent experience/training
- At least 5-6 years of experience managing corporate or academic social media environment
- Record of managing small to medium size team
- Ability to gather and analyses complex metrics
- Ability to handle social media and website independently
- Creative and analytic thinking skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
