Job Summary

CDF is seeking applicants for the position of Management Trainee - TKN, based at the Head Office in Karachi.

MTO- TKN 

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our TKN Department as a Management Trainee Officer (MTO). As an MTO, you will work closely with the Assistant Manager- TKN to support the recruitment and management of volunteers. This is a hands-on role that offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership and organizational skills while making a positive difference in the community.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the Volunteer Recruitment Cycle for all the TORs/ requests received from institutions at all levels; National, Regional, and Local level and also AKDN institutions.

  • Collaborate with Institutions to identify volunteers' needs and place them at the right place where their skill set matches.

  • Maintain the database management system of TKN volunteers. Timely update the TKN profile as and when received.

  • Provide ongoing support and supervision to staff and volunteers in various administrative tasks as needed.

  • Arranging quarterly meetings with the Regions/Institutions to share their status/ performance.

  • Review and finalize the TORs (Terms of References) shared by Institutions to be further shared to the TCO (TKN Coordinating Office) for approval.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with TKN volunteers and other stakeholders.

Required Skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Fresh graduate or at least six months of work experience.

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.

  • Awareness of HR functions preferably with recruitment.

  • Must be able to compile and draft reports.

  • Must have the ability to multitask and to accomplish tasks under pressure with stringent deadlines.

  • Must have good interpersonal and coordination skills with the ability to work well in team

  • Having command in using MS Office applications is a must.

  • Strong motivational skills and experience with community work.

  • Willingness to work on any additional task as assigned by the Management.

  • Requires a flexible schedule to accommodate a non-traditional work week, including some evenings and weekends.
