Silver Jubilee Development Agency (SJDA) was established in 1984 and incorporated as a Company limited by guarantee under section 23 of the Companies Act 1913 (now, section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017) on October 30, 1984. The objective of establishing SJDA is to promote the socio-economic progress of the communities by developing and supporting programmes and institutions.
Programme Overview
The Poverty Elimination (PE) Programme is SJDA’s integrated, institutional response to improve the Quality of Life of the underprivileged members of the communities by supporting the families to increase income. The PE Programme is a flagship initiative aimed at reducing multidimensional poverty within the local communities in Pakistan. It focuses on enabling vulnerable families to graduate out of poverty through targeted interventions such as income generation, access to finance, education, skill development, health, and social protection. The programme aligns with the global vision of driving sustainable poverty elimination and promoting resilience through economic empowerment and social inclusion.

Position Summary
SJDA is seeking applications for the position of Management Information System (MIS) Officer. The role is responsible for managing program data systems and supporting evidence-based decision-making across the Poverty Elimination Programme.
Reporting Line
The MIS Officer will report to the Manager MIS and work in close coordination with Program, Finance, Operations, and IT teams.
Purpose of the Position
The MIS Officer will design, manage, maintain, and continuously improve the Management Information System to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable data for planning, monitoring, reporting, and decision-making.

Duty Station & Travel
The position will be based in Gilgit, Chitral, or Islamabad. Frequent travel within program regions may be required, including occasional evenings and weekends.
