Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

 

Child Hygiene & Diapering

• Change diapers of infants and toddlers regularly and as needed.

• Clean and sanitize changing areas after each use.

• Assist in toilet training and help children in the washroom when required.

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare, including play areas, sleeping areas, and washrooms.

• Disinfect toys, furniture, and surfaces regularly.

• Handle soiled clothes or linens hygienically and assist with laundry if needed.

Support to Caregivers

• Assist caregivers during feeding times, naptimes, and daily routines.

• Provide support during children's arrival and departure routines.

• Ensure children’s belongings are properly labeled and stored.

Health & Safety

• Follow safety and hygiene protocols as per daycare policy.

• Report any health concerns or unusual child behavior to the supervisor immediately.

• Monitor children’s hygiene and help with handwashing and cleanliness habits.

• To maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for infants and young children at the daycare.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Minimum Matriculation
• At least 2 year of experience
• The Daycare Maid will be responsible for ensuring health and hygiene standards are met, including diaper changing, cleaning, and assisting caregivers in maintaining a hygienic space for all children.
