Job Summary

A Labourer is responsible for performing physical and manual tasks to support construction, maintenance, loading and unloading, cleaning, and other operational activities. The Labourer ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to supervisor instructions.

Role and Responsiblities:

  • Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
  • Assist skilled workers and supervisors with daily tasks.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of work areas.
  • Move and arrange materials as required.
  • Operate basic tools and equipment safely.
  • Follow workplace safety rules and regulations.
  • Assist in construction, repair, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure tools and materials are properly stored after use.
  • Complete assigned tasks on time and maintain productivity.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors.

Skills and Qualification:

  • Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials safely.
  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • Punctual, hardworking, and responsible.
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Previous labour or construction experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when required.
  • Must maintain discipline and a professional attitude at work.
