Job Summary

The Kitchen Helper will support the kitchen staff in preparing meals and maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the kitchen to ensure safe and timely food services to the students and staff of the Hostel.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist the cook in basic food preparation such as washing, cutting, peeling, and storing vegetables and ingredients.
• Help in serving meals to students/staff as per the schedule.
• Clean kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen floors, counters, shelves, and dining areas.
• Help in checking kitchen supplies and inform the supervisor when items are low.
• Perform any other kitchen-related tasks assigned by the Hostel Admin or Warden.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• The ideal candidate must have a matric pass certificate
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
