Job Summary

The Junior Finance Officer will be responsible for:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Managing payments related to utilities, vendors, petty cash, advances, and other accounting entries while ensuring compliance with financial policies and reporting any exceptions.
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations and fee statements, maintaining proper financial records, and submitting reports to regional/central finance.
  • Conducting yearly physical verification of fixed assets against the register and reconciling enrolment data with attendance registers, SIS, and FMS.
  • Reconciling the HBL Daily Credit Report (DCR) with the HBL MIS and other fee collection sources, coordinating with HBL representatives to resolve errors, and providing weekly updates on pending cases.
  • Managing the Fee Management System (FMS), ensuring accurate incorporation of new and departing students, timely printing and distribution of fee vouchers, and issuing notices to defaulters per the fee policy.
  • Ensuring full compliance with the Fee Standard Policy and financial procedures.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in finance
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Higher qualifications and additional experience will be preferred. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong written and oral communication skills are mandatory.
