I.T Project Manager @ Optimizia

Job Summary

We're a remote-first Canadian company working on a myriad of the latest technologies to build #NoCode and #AI-Smart digital products for our clients around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences.
• Investigate complex issues of production delivery, run the root cause analysis, establish a solution and push it through required steps necessary in order to deliver.
• Manage the scope of projects from inception to closure. Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets.

•  Co-ordinate the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work, Technical end-to-end Delivery Management; Agile, JIRA, SCRUM, Product Management
• Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kickoff, and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure project consultants are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards.

• Collaborate with developers for developing effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Executed all test phrases during System, Integration, and Functional testing including Component, Regression, User Acceptance, Performance, Ad-Hoc, and Stress testing, etc.
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them

Required Skills

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• 3+ years’ experience using tools of Project Management.
• Ability and willingness to learn.
• Very strong analytical skills.
• Experience in data analysis is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage critical situations.
• Team player.
