Job Summary

The IT & HR Officer is responsible for supporting both the organization's information technology infrastructure and human resources functions. This role ensures the smooth operation of IT systems while assisting with recruitment, employee records, onboarding, HR administration, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate is organized, technically proficient, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities across both departments.

Role and Responsibilities:

Information Technology (IT)

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, printers, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, operating systems, and business applications.
  • Manage user accounts, email systems, and access permissions.
  • Monitor system performance and coordinate with external IT vendors when necessary.
  • Ensure data security, perform regular backups, and maintain IT documentation.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and minimize system downtime.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.

Human Resources (HR)

  • Assist in recruitment by posting vacancies, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Support attendance, leave management, and payroll administration.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Assist in employee engagement, training, and performance management activities.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

Required Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, HR administration, or a similar hybrid role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, Windows operating systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with HR practices, recruitment processes, and labor laws.
