IT Engineer - Network & Infrastructure @ Star Marketing

Job Summary

We at TechMinds Venture (TMV) are seeking a hands-on Senior IT Engineer to take full ownership of our infrastructure, cloud environments, and core systems. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring high availability, security, and scalability across the organization.

Role and  Responsibilities

• Own and manage servers, databases, and virtual environments
• Administer cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Manage network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls)
• Ensure system uptime, monitoring, backups & disaster recovery
• Implement automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Strengthen security, access control, and compliance
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
• Deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure
• Work with containers (Docker) & orchestration (Kubernetes – plus)
• Support CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Collaborate with engineering teams for DevOps best practices
• Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) (Terraform/ARM – plus)

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• 3 to 5 years in IT Infrastructure / System Engineering
• Strong experience in Windows/Linux, networking, and virtualization
• Hands-on with cloud platforms & DevOps tools
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Bachelors Degree in a related discipline
• Certifications will be an advantage

• Location: Federal B Area, Block 4, Karachi
• Employment type: Full-time, Permanent
• Working days & timings: 8pm to 5am (PKT), Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays
