Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Record and update all inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, returns, and issues) in the inventory management system.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
  • Track and report inventory usage, slow-moving, and obsolete items.
  • Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely replenishment of materials.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory items.
  • Prepare periodic inventory reports and summaries for management review.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Verify supplier deliveries and ensure items meet quality and quantity requirements.
  • Assist in implementing inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Support internal and external audits related to inventory.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in FMCG, food manufacturing, or retail environments.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software (e.g., ERP, SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
