Job Summary
HR Officer will primarily support the HR department in the recruitment activities and will also be working as a generalist managing the day-to-day Human Resources matters.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support line manager in recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Responsible for handling day-to-day queries and acting as a functional bridge between HR and other departments.
- Schedule/Coordinate interviews and testing of shortlisted applicants and support in issuing joining letters to final candidates, under the supervision of the line manager.
- Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
- Manage HR Support queries via email and call, provide prompt response and assistance
- Maintain CV data bank with regard to different positions in the organization.
- Prepare, manage, and coordinate with the staff regarding monthly attendance and leave records.
- Coordinate with the Insurance company with regard to health & life insurance i.e., employee registration, data updates, deletion, and claims reimbursement.
- Ensure accurate and timely issuance of employment contract I probation extension & / or confirmation letters.
- Assist in performance management processes.
- Maintaining documentation of employee severance.
- Ensure proper record keeping and documentation of Employee’s Personal Files.
- Ensure accurate and timely accessibility of data as and when required by the management.
- Responsible for providing support in the Departmental Audit as & when carried out and also rectifying all observations in a timely & accurate manner.
- Manage Attendance software (TIS) and submit monthly reports to management.
- Assist in submission of relevant MIS/data for timely submission of quarterly reports regarding hiring and resigned staff.
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
- Must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in HR or relevant field. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 1 - 2 years of professional experience.
- S/he must have good communication skills in English & Urdu
- S/he must be able to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior and should have good interpersonal skills.
- S/he should be flexible in order to adapt to changes in the work environment.
- S/he should have good time management and problem-solving skills.
- S/he must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Proficiency in MS Office. Experience working on any HR-related software will be an added preference.
