Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our growing team. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. You will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and aligning HR strategies with overall business goals.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance management process, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback.
  • Assist in developing strategies to improve employee performance and career development.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Manage and administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive and fair offerings.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to ensure the company remains competitive in compensation practices.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and implement training programs that support employee growth and align with business objectives.
  • Identify skills gaps and recommend appropriate training solutions.

Compliance and Policies:

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to legal standards.

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the company.
  • Oversee the offboarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews and knowledge transfer.

HR Reporting and Analytics:

  • Maintain HR records and generate reports related to staffing, turnover, performance, and other key metrics.
  • Provide data-driven insights to leadership for informed decision-making.

 

Required Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a Human Resources management or HR specialist role.
  • Experience in managing HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Previous experience leading or managing an HR team is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance issues.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits administration, payroll, and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Interpersonal and Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with employees and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Leadership and Management Abilities:

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ability to drive change and implement HR initiatives that align with the company’s overall strategy and values.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to make sound, fair, and unbiased judgments.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in HR software (HRIS systems), Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR tools.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and generating HR reports.
