Job Summary

A Hotel Manager oversees the daily operations of a hotel to ensure excellent guest experiences, efficient staff performance, and profitable business operations. They manage departments such as front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and customer service while maintaining high hospitality standards.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Manage hotel budgets, expenses, revenue, and financial reporting.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate hotel staff.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Monitor room occupancy, reservations, and pricing strategies.
  • Maintain hotel facilities and coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Plan and execute marketing and promotional initiatives to increase bookings.
  • Build relationships with guests, vendors, and business partners.
  • Analyze performance metrics and prepare operational reports.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel management or hospitality operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required.
