The Hostel Warden is responsible for maintaining discipline, safety, and a comfortable living environment for all hostel residents. She will ensure smooth day-to-day management of the hostel and address the needs and welfare of the students/residents.
Supervise and manage the overall functioning of the girls' hostel.
Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to hostel rules and regulations.
Monitor the entry and exit of residents to ensure security.
Handle resident complaints and resolve conflicts among students.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper maintenance of hostel facilities.
Maintain records of attendance, visitors, and hostel inventory.
Coordinate with management and security staff for safety arrangements.
Assist in organizing hostel activities and student welfare programs.
Provide first-level counseling and support to residents when needed.
Ensure timely reporting of issues related to infrastructure or student conduct.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience in hostel administration or student management preferred.
Good communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Must be responsible, disciplined, and empathetic toward students.
