Job Purpose
To assist with bakery production, packaging, loading and unloading, cleaning, material handling, and other routine factory operations under the direction of the Supervisor, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, safety, and workplace discipline.
Role and Responsibilities
Production and Operations Support
Assist bakery staff and production workers with daily factory operations.
Support the production team during mixing, baking, cooling, packaging, and dispatch activities.
Assist with the preparation and handling of raw materials according to instructions.
Follow the Supervisor's instructions and established production procedures.
Material Handling and Packaging
Handle, load, unload, move, and properly arrange raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
Pack bakery products safely and properly in boxes, cartons, trays, and other designated packaging.
Assist in arranging and storing materials and products in their designated locations.
Handle products carefully to prevent damage, breakage, or wastage.
Maintain proper organization of materials and finished goods in the production and storage areas.
Cleaning, Hygiene, and Safety
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in production, storage, packaging, and surrounding areas.
Clean utensils, tools, equipment, machinery, and work areas as required.
Strictly follow food safety, personal hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
Wear required protective equipment, including aprons, hairnets, gloves, and other safety gear.
Immediately report damaged materials, equipment or machinery issues, hazards, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards applicable to the factory and food production environment.
General Responsibilities
Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional behavior at all times.
Cooperate with team members and support other departments when required.
Perform additional duties assigned by the Factory In-Charge or Supervisor.
Follow company policies, procedures, and workplace rules.
Contribute to maintaining an efficient, safe, and clean working environment.
