Head Teacher – Pre-Primary Section – SMS Aga Khan School, Karachi – Afternoon Shift

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead, direct, and monitor the development and progress of teachers, students, and the entire school through a well-defined annual school development plan covering key areas such as school leadership and management, teaching and learning, curriculum and resources, parents and community engagement, ethos and environment.
• Motivate academic and non-academic staff while ensuring adherence to school policies, processes, and systems.
• Maintain a high standard of education and foster an open, conducive learning environment.

Required Skills

Skills:

• Hold a Master’s degree, preferably in Education or Management, from a reputable university.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of teaching and educational management experience, preferably at the pre-primary level in a reputable institution.
• Candidates with a certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE), experience working with young children (aged 2-6 years), strong communication, classroom management, interpersonal, and leadership skills, along with experience in teacher training, will have an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and proven experience working with parents is desirable.
