Job Summary

The Handicraft / Handmade Artisan is responsible for creating high-quality, handcrafted products using traditional techniques, creativity, and attention to detail. This role involves designing, crafting, finishing, and packaging handmade items while maintaining consistent quality and meeting production timelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and create handmade products such as decor items, accessories, textiles, jewelry, or other craft-based goods.
• Use traditional and modern crafting techniques (e.g., stitching, knitting, carving, weaving, embroidery, paper craft, etc.).
• Ensure each product meets quality and design standards.
• Maintain an organized workspace and properly handle crafting tools and materials.
• Work efficiently to meet daily/weekly production targets.
• Assist in product development and contribute creative ideas for new designs.
• Perform finishing tasks such as polishing, painting, assembling, or packaging.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and report needs for restocking.
• Follow safety guidelines and proper equipment usage.
• Collaborate with the team to support special orders, bulk orders, or custom designs.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Basic to advanced skills in handicraft techniques (e.g., stitching, crochet, knitting, embroidery, beadwork, paper craft, wood craft, etc.).
• Ability to create neat, high-quality handmade products.
• Prior experience in handicrafts or artisan work (preferred but not required for entry-level roles).
• Ability to follow design samples, patterns, or instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
• Creativity and sense of design, color combinations, and aesthetics.
• Strong focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
