Job Summary

The Guest Relation Officer (GRO) is responsible for ensuring a high standard of guest service by welcoming and assisting guests throughout their stay. The role focuses on enhancing guest satisfaction and managing guest feedback effectively.

Role and  Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and professional attitude.

  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures when required.

  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

  • Handle guest complaints, requests, and inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met.

  • Maintain up-to-date guest profiles and preferences for personalized service.

  • Promote hotel services and amenities to guests.

  • Ensure the lobby and front desk area are presentable and welcoming at all times.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups with guests during and after their stay to ensure satisfaction.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service (preferred).

  • Fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also be considered.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.

  • Problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Proficient in using computers, MS Office, and reservation or front desk software.

  • Fluency in Urdu and English (additional languages are a plus).

  • Presentable and well-groomed appearance.

  • Polite, patient, and empathetic nature.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for guest satisfaction.

Availability:
