A General Teacher is responsible for delivering lessons, guiding students academically and socially, and creating a positive learning environment. The teacher plans and implements instructional activities, evaluates student performance, and supports overall student development.
Role and Responsibilities
Teaching & Instruction
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons according to the curriculum.
Teach assigned subjects effectively using different teaching methods.
Explain concepts clearly and encourage student participation.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject.
Teaching certification or diploma in education (preferred).
Good knowledge of the school curriculum.
Previous teaching experience is preferred.
Fresh graduates may also apply in some schools.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage and control a classroom effectively.
Good organizational and lesson-planning skills.
Patience and understanding when dealing with students.
Ability to motivate and encourage students.
