Job Summary

The Ismaili Council for Pakistan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Designer to join the Communications team. This position requires a candidate with a strong creative vision and the ability to deliver high-quality design solutions. The position is based in Karachi and will report directly to the Senior Manager of Communications.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality visuals that bring concepts to life.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver impactful designs.
  • Edit and generate visually compelling and impactful marketing and communications materials for diverse platforms, encompassing both print and digital mediums such as social media templates and posts, banners, brochures, stationary, presentations, etc.
  • Formulate concepts for campaigns that resonate with our target audience and stakeholders and align with overall objectives.
  • Uphold a superior standard of design quality, ensuring uniformity across all materials.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines within a dynamic work environment
  • Conduct thorough reviews and proofreading of designs and copy to ensure accuracy.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, integrating the latest graphic design techniques into projects.
  • Maintain marketing assets by filing documents, assets, and images in an exceptionally organized manner.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design (or diploma) or a relevant field.
  • At least 3-4 years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and diverse design projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Urdu (written and verbal).
  • Professional photography, videography, and video editing skills are considered assets.
  • Experience working in media and advertising agency is an asset.
  • Passionate about acquiring knowledge and enthusiastic about providing and receiving feedback.
  • Ability to be flexible, including occasionally working additional hours to meet company goals and deadlines.
