A General Teacher is responsible for teaching multiple subjects to students, supporting their academic development, and creating a positive learning environment in the classroom.
Role and Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver lessons according to the school curriculum.
Teach basic subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and classroom activities.
Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress.
Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment.
Encourage students to participate in learning activities.
Provide guidance and support to students who need extra help.
Communicate with parents about students’ progress and behavior.
Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject.
Teaching qualification such as B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is preferred.
Experience:
Previous teaching experience in a school is an advantage.
Fresh graduates with teaching training may also apply.
