Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated General Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive science instruction that fosters students' curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific literacy. Subjects may include biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, and environmental science, depending on the curriculum.

Role and  Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with the curriculum standards and learning objectives.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry and exploration.

  • Use a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to accommodate different learning styles.

  • Assess student progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams, and provide timely feedback.

  • Integrate technology and hands-on experiments to enhance student understanding.

  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.

  • Participate in departmental meetings, staff development sessions, and school events.

  • Uphold school policies and maintain professional standards in all aspects of the role.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Science Education, or a related field (required).

  • Teaching certification or license relevant to the subject and grade level (required).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of teaching experience in general science or a related subject (preferred; new graduates with strong practicum experience may be considered).

  • Experience working with students in [middle school/high school] settings.

  • Experience using modern educational technology and digital learning platforms (preferred).

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of core science subjects: biology, chemistry, physics, earth/environmental science.

  • Ability to design and implement engaging lesson plans, labs, and activities.

  • Skilled in classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.

  • Proficient in using educational technology, including virtual labs, smart boards, and online assessment tools.
