Job Summary
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using paper or digital forms (in-person, phone, or online)
- Explain survey purpose clearly to participants
- Ask questions exactly as written and record responses accurately
- Ensure all required fields in the form are completed
- Maintain confidentiality of respondent information
- Verify collected data for accuracy and completeness
- Submit daily/weekly survey reports to the supervisor
- Follow sampling methods and survey guidelines provided by the organization
- Identify and resolve issues such as incomplete forms or unclear responses
- Provide feedback on survey challenges or improvements needed
- Maintain organized records of survey forms and documentation
- Attend training sessions on survey tools, ethics, and data collection methods
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
- Minimum Matric / Intermediate (Higher education is a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain questions clearly and professionally
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic data entry skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Time management and organizational skills
- Problem-solving ability when respondents give unclear answers
- Trustworthiness in handling sensitive information
- Basic knowledge of mobile or digital survey tools (optional but preferred)
