Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Present menus, explain menu items, and make recommendations when requested.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality service.
  • Set up and clear dining tables before and after service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and equipment.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Process bills and handle cash, card, or digital payments accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor inventory of dining supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality or Food & Beverage certification is an advantage).
  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, café, or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are an advantage
