Job Summary

Job Purpose

To assist in handling, loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of raw materials and finished bakery products while ensuring cleanliness, proper storage, safety, and smooth warehouse operations.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving, unloading, and storing raw materials properly.
  • Support loading, unloading, and dispatch of finished bakery products.
  • Arrange and stack raw materials and finished goods in designated storage areas.
  • Ensure proper handling of flour, sugar, oil, packaging material, and bakery products to avoid damage or wastage.
  • Assist in inventory counting and stock verification activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in warehouse, store, and production areas.
  • Support production and dispatch teams in daily operational activities.
  • Follow food safety, workplace safety, and company SOPs at all times.
  • Report damaged, expired, or missing materials/products to the supervisor immediately.
  • Assist in shifting materials between the warehouse, production, and dispatch sections as required.
  • Ensure proper use and care of loading/unloading equipment and tools

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Minimum Matric/Intermediate preferred.

  • Previous experience in warehouse, bakery, or factory operations will be an advantage.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling materials.
  • Teamwork and coordination.
  • Basic warehouse and material handling knowledge.
  • Ability to follow instructions and SOPs effectively.
  • Time management and discipline.
