The Finance Officer will be responsible for assisting Regional Finance in the following:
Role and Responsibilities:
Record invoices in ERP system in compliance with organizational policies and international accounting standards.
Ensure correct application of withholding taxes (WHT) and other statutory deductions on payments.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely payments and resolution of queries.
Prepare bank reconciliations and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve unrecorded or discrepant entries.
Coordinate with bank for operational matters such as payment issues account maintenance and transaction queries.
Process employee related financial transactions, including advances, settlements, travel allowances (TADA) and reimbursements.
Execute corporate payments through cheques issuance and online bank transfers in accordance with the approved Authority Matrix.
Maintain physical and electronic record of vouchers and support documents for tax filing and audits.
Ensure timely posting of financial entries during the month closing cycles.
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
The ideal candidate must hold 16 years of education in accounting and finance or certification in ACCA/CIMA/ICMA/ CA (part-qualified).
A minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant field is required.
The candidate must have effective communication and strong interpersonal skills along with proficiency in Advanced Excel and ability to work under pressure.
