Role and  Responsibilities

  • Assist in recording and maintaining expenses, reimbursements, and financial transactions accurately.
  • Assist in preparing weekly tax workings and ensuring timely submission of applicable tax deductions.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting monthly Sales Tax workings and returns.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual tax returns, including withholding tax statements.
  • Maintain proper filing and record management of vouchers, invoices, tax records, and supporting documentation.
  • Follow up on receivables and coordinate with clients for timely recovery of outstanding amounts.
  • Assist in tax audits, financial audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Collect, verify, and maintain tax deduction certificates from clients and vendors.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and management reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial record management.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
