Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records (ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts).
  • Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
  • Assist in payroll processing and tax compliance.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare financial forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and financial institutions.
  • Support procurement and inventory management processes.
  • Assist in grant management and donor reporting (if applicable).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager
