Job Title: Finance Intern

The Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P) is seeking a Finance Intern, reporting to the Assistant Manager Finance.
Summary of the Role
Provide support in scanning, uploading, organizing, and maintaining financial vouchers and supporting documents.
Assist with voucher preparation, Record of Payments (ROP) tracking, bank deposits, and accurate financial record management.
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Finance Team in accordance with established procedures.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Voucher Scanning and Digital Archiving: Scan financial vouchers and supporting documents and maintain organized digital records.
- Voucher Uploading: Upload financial vouchers and relevant supporting documents into the designated finance system accurately and timely.
- ROP Tracking: Assist in updating and monitoring the Record of Payments (ROP) to ensure proper tracking and documentation.
- Bank Deposits: Visit banks for the deposit of cheques and cash, as assigned by the Finance Department.
- Finance Voucher Preparation: Assist in completing and preparing financial vouchers in accordance with established procedures.
- Photocopying and Documentation: Photocopy, organize, and maintain financial documents for effective record management.
- Document Management: Ensure the proper arrangement, completeness, and filing of vouchers and supporting documentation.
- General Finance Assistance: Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance Team in day-to-day financial activities.
Required Skills
Skills And Qualifications:
- Fresh graduates and candidates with no prior work experience are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Economics, BBA, MBA, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and a willingness to learn and develop finance-related skills.
